We love this house, it meets all our needs. Owner came by and was very nice to us. He asked what we would change and I said nothing. I did talk to my husband later and he said, he would like more tv channels, and I thought about my young kids. More plastic cups and bowls. Other than that it was perfect. Love the house and the location.

Best Spot in Port A!

We have been to Port A a few times now and this is by far the best house that we have rented out! The house was clean and ready on time for check in and we didn't get the code to the house by check in but called customer service which picked up right away and provided the code to me which was very helpful. The house was clean and didn't find anything wrong with it when we came in, the cleaning crew also puts sanitized stickers on the toilet and toilet paper so that way makes the customer feel comfortable. We had no issues throughout our stay and instructions were clear and easy to follow along for check in and our check out process. Will definitely rent this property next time we go to Port A!

We truly enjoyed this vacation home. Spacious inside & tons of outdoor space. The kitchen was well appointed. Great place for families with kiddos. Community pool was very clean & comfortable. Convenient location! We would definitely pick this place again. Only suggestion would be a small fenced area to take the doggies for potty breaks. Thanks

Our family loved staying at Doodle Digs. Clean, great location. Lots of room for 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. Pool is across the parking lot. I would definitely go back. Renting a golf cart really made this a great vacation.

This home was the perfect place to spend my 50th birthday! The location and amenities were top notch! The kitchen included everything from coffee pot to insta pot! Beds were super comfy and the lazy Susan in the middle of the table was awesome for playing cards! Plenty of seating inside and out! Cant wait to go back!

Our stay did not meet are expectations. Last year we stayed at a property to the right of this property and had high expectations, Since we had a great time last year.
We arrived and we had several issues the first day. First the garbage disposal was leaking, next the tv remotes did not match up to the TV so we had to play remote bingo to find the right remote and tv. Next the rocker on the porch was broken. It was pushed up against the wall on the porch and when it was pulled out we could see it was broken. Both bathrooms the handles to flush the toilets had to we had to fix. The shower in the master bedroom shower head was not properly attached and was just hanging on to the down spout. You were able to use it as long as you didn’t move the head. Lastly we did see a couple of water bugs in the house.
The house was laid out nice and roomy we had a descant time but were sadly disappointed since it did not meet our expectations or hopes. Since the bar was set high in 2019.

Would I stay at this house again no. Would I use Life in Paradise again yes.

We had a great stay. We were a large group with kids and there was plenty of space. I would also like to add that there was plenty of hot water for all our showers after the beach. There is so much more that could be told but over all we had a great time and will definitely be going back.

We had six adults and two toddlers fit perfectly in this house. The table was bar height which can be a challenge for toddlers, but there is a nice table and chair set on the large porch. There is a good washer and dryer. There is a convenient keypad on the front door. There is a great community pool, and the beach is about a mile away. You can get a permit and park your car on the beach. Many shops and restaurants have opened since Harvey. We recommend vacationing here!

Loved staying in Doodle Digs. Love this little neighborhood with a pool and just a few blocks from the beach, shopping and restaurants. Plenty of room for our 7 adults. Big open living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen provided tons of cooking utensils, pans, pots, etc. Great parking for multiple cars with room under the porch for games, grilling, or just hanging out. All around a terrific place

We really enjoyed our stay at Doogle Digs. We found the house to be clean and smelled clean. The location was acceptable as to distance from the beach. The community pool was nice for the kids. The house contained all the items we needed for our stay. Our only issue is that we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper.

We enjoyed our 3 month winter stay in this beautiful home! We enjoyed the decor and spacious open concept. We had plenty of room for our grandchildren during spring break. There were a few items lacking in the kitchen. We had to buy mixing bowls, a casserole dish, and several utensils such as ice cream scoop and pizza cutter. The crock pot was too small for a house that sleeps 10+ people. There was also no iron or ironing board. It was over priced compared to similar units in PA.

The location and condition of the property are great for me and my family. It's our second year in a row staying at this house and we'll probably be back again next year. My wife is a little picky about cleanliness and wishes the counters were wiped a little better and the floors were mopped/cleaned a little better. But overall, we love our Port A. vacations on Chloe's way.

The house was clean, although there a few dead reaches lying around. It had extra towels and cooking ware, which was very convenient. It was very spacious, like, there was no being cramped in the house. The bathrooms were great. Hot and cold water worked, there were plenty of rolls of toilet paper. Overall, our stay was awesome. Would definitely come back here again should another opportunity for a vacation present itself.

Wi-fi did not work, light on TP and soap in the bathroom. Very clean and lots of space. Needed to have extra trash bags in the kitchen.
